A lovely card for a lovely friend. The feature project this week was created using a few basic card making supplies and our EVO Synthetic paper. EVO paper is similar to other synthetic papers on the market, like YUPO and can be used for paper crafting, card making and all sorts of fine art and mixed media projects.
To make the focal point on this card we painted stripes on a full sheet of EVO paper using a paintbrush and various shades of yellow and lime green alcohol inks. The color stripes blend and dry together creating an interesting painted stripe. We then used alphabet dies to cut the word “Friend” from the painted paper. We are loving this interesting stripe ombre look. We also used Ebony and White Frost Colorplan cardstock to create this card.
