LOVING EVO – Hearts galore!

Have you had a chance to try our EVO synthetic paper yet? We are LOVING this paper and are having so much fun creating with it. Check out these bleeding hearts we painted, each one so very different.

We created these hearts using a 11″ x 14″ sheet of our EVO Synthetic paper and various colors of red, pink, purple and metallic alcohol inks. In all cases the heart shape was painted onto the EVO paper first using rubbing alcohol / blending solution and then the various colors were dropped into the alcohol wash with a paint brush or with the ink directly – making a swirling and bleeding heart. Each heart is unique and a total experiment. When playing with alcohol ink you need to go with the flow… literally.

A Simple Thank You in Colorplan Chartreuse – NEW 8.5″x11″

We have much to be Thankful for around here and have been sending out simple Thank You notes acknowledging all the kindness that has been sent our way.

Did you know our Colorplan Cardstock is now offered in 12″ x 12″ and 8.5″ x 11″ individual and assortment packs? This is exciting news for scrap bookers, paper crafters, and card makers alike. A color for every project and now a size for every project!

These simple Thank You cards were so easy to create and add just the right amount of “handmade”. We love the dollar spot at our local Target. Often we find blank note cards and envelopes, usually 6-8 for a dollar. What a steal! However these simple cards can be rather boring. To make these more unique we added a large word (Thanks) cut from our Chartreuse card stock and popped to the front of the card using foam adhesive. We were able to cut 8 ‘THANKS’ from one sheet of 8.5″ x 11″ Chartreuse cardstock. Love it.

Did you know? Chartreuse is a color between yellow and green that was named because of its resemblance to the green color of one of the French liqueurs called green chartreuse, introduced in 1764.

We offer 18 colors of Colorplan cardstock in individual packs (10 sheets per pack) and have just added a new size, 8.5 x 11. You can see all the colors offered here.

Coming soon! Holographic Envelopes

A new year and we are already adding a NEW product! Our holographic papers are such a big hit that we decided to add Holographic envelopes to our paper line. Coming soon to the ETC store are A2 Holographic Envelopes.

These A2 envelopes will be available initially in the Oil Slick pattern and are white paper on the inside. Envelopes are offered in a 6 pack. You can write on the envelopes with any permanent ink. Sharpies work great to address or add a label for better visibility when mailing.

Look for this fun new product and more in the coming months! Have a great week.

Let it Snow – Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! Is it snowing where you live? Here in Las Vegas it’s sunny and there is no sight of snow. Who are we kidding, it rarely snows in Vegas. Since we are dreaming of a winter wonderland we decided to create a few snow themed cards and treats using our Colorplan Winter cardstock assortment. Colors used on these projects are White Frost, New Blue and Sapphire.

We offer Colorplan cardstock in 5 assortment packs. Make something great!

Happy Holidays!

Season’s Greetings! Here’s an up close look at the ETC Papers Holiday card for the 2020 season. We created this Snowflake card using Oil Slick Holographic and Colorplan white frost card stock.
Oil Slick
Every card was lovingly hand cut and hand assembled. We cut each snowflake on our E-Cutter and weeded out all the negative shapes to create window opening to showcase the Holographic paper. We love how the Holographic Oil Slick cardstock swirls and spins like a winter storm making it the perfect choice to feature on our card.
These cards are super fun and look different from every angle. Just like a snow storm.
Wishing you and yours health and happiness this holiday season. Happy Holidays!

Tiny gift packages using Linen Holographic Cardstock

Look at this fantastic paper! This paper is called Linen Holographic cardstock. The texture of the linen Holographic cardstock is subtle and dynamic, like beautiful brushed metal. Uses are endless. We love it and decided to use it to create little co-worker treat boxes.

These boxes are easy to make. We cut them using a cut file from the Silhouette design store and our Silhouette Cameo E-Cutter.  We scored the cardstock after the files were cut and then folded the cracker boxes. These boxes are filled with a special homemade treat Aren’t these fun?

Happy Holidays!

Grateful for Glitter Paper – Table decor

Hello friends. Our Thanksgiving (like most) will look a little different this year. It will be smaller and include just our immediate household so we wanted to make it extra special.

We created a fun set of chalkboard napkin rings for our table setting. We have stamped leaves on our White Frost ColorPlan cardstock using a multi-layer leaf stamp and various colors of Tim Holtz Distressing ink. We arranged the stamped paper leaves and then set to adding a little glitter. We have hand cut leaves from our Bronze, Light Blue and Aqua glitter papers to decorate each mini chalkboard. We will use these for our Thanksgiving dinner later this week. Since these are erasable chalkboards we will be able to use them again and again!

We are grateful for you. Have a great week!
