Grateful for Glitter Paper – Table decor

Hello friends. Our Thanksgiving (like most) will look a little different this year. It will be smaller and include just our immediate household so we wanted to make it extra special.

We created a fun set of chalkboard napkin rings for our table setting. We have stamped leaves on our White Frost ColorPlan cardstock using a multi-layer leaf stamp and various colors of Tim Holtz Distressing ink. We arranged the stamped paper leaves and then set to adding a little glitter. We have hand cut leaves from our Bronze, Light Blue and Aqua glitter papers to decorate each mini chalkboard. We will use these for our Thanksgiving dinner later this week. Since these are erasable chalkboards we will be able to use them again and again!

We are grateful for you. Have a great week!

Batty for Non-Shed Glitter Cardstock

We are absolutely BATTY for our non-shed Glitter cardstock. We use the Black Glitter cardstock and a sheet of Claret ColorPlan cardstock to create this last minute Halloween card. While Halloween may look a little different this year we still want to send a little spook to friends and family by sending a little bit of trick and treat via the mail.

You can find all 20 colors our non-shed Glitter cardstock here.

And ColorPlan cardstock here.

Happy HALLOWEEN everyone. Stay well.

Bakers Twine

White pattern paper (suggestion)

Gingham pattern paper (suggestion)

  1. In pencil draw a bunny silhouette image on the back side of a sheet of Rose Gold Glitter Cardstock. Tip: If you are are uncomfortable drawing a bunny silhouette you can print a free clip art bunny on white copy paper and trace onto the backside of the glitter paper. Our bunny image is approximately 3″ tall.
  2. Cut out the bunny using a pair of scissors. Our Glitter cardstock cuts easily with any scissors or electronic cutting machine. Use the heavy glitter cardstock setting if you are using an e-cutter.
  3. Tie a piece of baker’s twine around the bunny neck and create a bow.
  4. Mount the cut bunny onto a piece of white cardstock (6″x6″). We used a decorative embossed piece of cardstock.
  5. Mount the white cardstock onto the gingham cardstock (8″x8″).  Display.

This Aqua Glitter paper basket is full of Cadbury eggs, a favorite Easter treat! We used this Berry Basket cut file available from the Silhouette Design Store.  Any basket cut file will work. We like this Berry Basket design as it is simple, easy to cut and super easy to assemble.

Snow is falling all around … is it snowing where you live? ETC Papers is based in Las Vegas and we don’t usually get much snow, if any. However many of us work remotely and sure are getting dumped on. Freshly falling snow means snow days, slippers and craft time. Yay!

Inspired by snow, we’ve made a couple of winter cards we hope you’ll enjoy! We love the look of sparkly snow and tried to mimic that look on these cards using our White Glitter non-shed cardstock.

Add a little glitter to your next craft project. You’ll love the look. Even better, you’ll love that it’s mess free!

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year from all of us at ETC Papers.

Tag those gifts – Make them sparkle

A personalized and custom tag can really push your gift giving to the next level. You don’t need much to make that gift packaging special. Here are two tag ideas that we hope inspire you to dress up those holiday packages.

These ‘FOR YOU’ tags features our Green Glitter non-shed card stock. We used a leaf die to create holly leaves and then added a few red embellishments to create the berries.

These ‘Tree SPARKLE’ tags features our Green Glitter non-shed card stock and our Emerald Glitter non-shed card stock. These two shades of green add variety to the repeating trees. We used a small tree die to cut the tree shape and then added silver rhinestone stars to the top of each tree.

Happy gift giving!

Candy Cane gift card holders

Gift cards are such an easy and popular gift. Everyone loves a gift card! Give that gift a little personal touch by creating a custom gift card holder. We hope this idea inspires you.

We created these sweet candy cane gift card holders using strips glitter cardstock. Cut 5 strips of red and white glitter cardstock approximately 6″ long by .25″ wide. The strips do not need to be the exact size, we used varying widths. Alternate the strips to created a red and white stripe pattern. Punch or cut out into a candy cane shape and add to kraft cardstock.

We used our Red Glitter Cardstock and White Glitter cardstock.

Red Glitter Poinsettias

Do you love wrapping and dressing up gift packages? We sure do. Having an arsenal of specialty papers at our fingertips sure helps us add a little special flare. This project features our Red Glitter non-shed cardstock.

This gift is wrapped in patterned paper, tied with 1″ striped ribbon and embellished with a small handmade Red Glitter Poinsettia.

Our glitter cardstock has so many fantastic features! Among them is how well it cuts and folds. This paper is surprisingly malleable. We were able to easily add a curve to these poinsettia petals using a bone folder. When we layered and adhered these curved petals together a three dimensional flower began to bloom.

Thanks for visiting and happy wrapping!

Merry, Merry, MERRY!

We are making MERRY! Time to deck the halls. We are making Merry home decorate to spruce up the office. Our Red Glitter cardstock adds just the right amount of FESTIVE sparkle to any project and we love how it looks on this project.

This darling custom paper craft art was created using a few simple supplies listed below. We started out making a Holiday card but ended up turning the work into Home Decor.
