Sweet and Juicy … Lemonade cards using EVO Synthetic Papers

Last week we shared how we swatch out a bunch of new alcohol inks on EVO Synthetic papers. We used those swatches to select just the right color yellow ink to create these two lemonade cards. These cards came together quickly using the stamp set and supplies from the July Simon Says Stamp card kit. Everything we needed to create these cards was included in the box, but of course we had to add a little Glitter Cardstock and EVO Synthetic Paper!

We used the appropriately names Citrus Burst ink from ALTENEW to paint a juicy wash of ink onto EVO Synthetic Paper.

Once dry we then stamped the lemon images from the Simon Says Stamp set onto the wash using Gina K amalgam ink. We love using this ink on EVO. It does not smear once dry.

Our first card is a 3.5″ x 7″ slimline card. It fits in a standard business mailing envelope. We love that hint of black glitter cardstock peeking from under the sentiment.

The second card is a traditional A2 sized card and pulls in more fun paper from the Simon Says Stamp card kit. We went back into the sliced lemon image and added a little more yellow ink for dimension using a fine paintbrush.

EVO Synthetic Paper is available in many sizes and shapes. See the full offering here.
