This week has flown by. We are back and so excited to share more Chameleon Pen and Wood paper projects. We were floored by the amazing projects and talent that was shared last week. We have quickly become Chameleon addicts.
We have two pieces of home decor to share. First is this Starfish print on Birch Wood paper. This is a larger scale coloring project and is super simple to create with only RD4 and YL2 Chameleon Pens, one sheet of Birch Wood paper, starfish art file (from Vintage Fangirl) and an inkjet printer.
1. Print this starfish file onto an 8.5″ x 11″ sheet of Birch Wood paper.
2. Color away using RD4 and YL2 Chameleon Pens.
That’s it! So simple and so stunning. The red and yellow tones in these pens blend perfectly for a nice orange color.
Chameleon pens are alcohol based so they blend nicely and work with alcohol blending solutions. This next project is a little playful and fun. Follow these simple steps below:
1. Download this free coloring page from Amy Tangerine (So Many Reasons).
2. Print the So Many Reasons file onto an 8.5″ x 11″ sheet of Birch Wood paper.
3. Color each letter a different color using the Primary Color tones Chameleon Pens.
4. Randomly add droplets of Ranger / Tim Holtz Adirondack Alcohol blending solution and watch the magic happen.
We think this technique is super fun and gives us SO MANY REASONS TO BE HAPPY!
