Decorating with Glass blocks are a cute and simple way to personalize your space. We added a treasured holiday piece to our decor this year with this Wood ‘Oh Holy Night’ Glass block. We purchased this simple manger design from the Silhouette Design store and cut it onto Cherry wood using our Silhouette Cameo. We topped the glass block off with a wood bow made from Tape. Put lights inside or display the block with lights behind it. This decor block is glowing with the Christmas spirit.
Supplies for the Real Wood ‘Oh Holy Night’ glass block: Cherry wood sheet, Birch wood tape, glass block, ‘Oh Holy Night’ cut file, and Silhouette Cameo.
1. Cut the ‘Oh Holy Night’ design file onto an adhesive backed sheet of BARC Cherry wood.
2. Peel off adhesive lining from the Cherry wood sheet. Arrange and adhere the ‘Oh Holy Night’ Cherry Wood design onto glass block.
3. Wrap the perimeter of glass block with Birch wood tape.
4. Create a wood bow from Birch Wood Tape. Adhere bow to top of block.
5. Display.
